Construction works have started for the development of a mental health campus in Redwood, San Mateo County. The project is implemented for Cordilleras Health System and it will be the first net-zero carbon emissions mental health campus in California. Four buildings will be Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRC), accomodating 16 long-term patients each, while the fifth building will be a co-housing, supporting transitional clients. All five buildings and site parking will have solar panels on the roofs.

Skanska has signed a contract to build this project with an estimated capital value of US$105 million. CannonDesign is the architect. The construction is expected to finalize in December 2023.
