Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has launched a notice inviting private sector companies to bid for Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Plant in Hassyan.
The project involves the construction and operation of a desalination plant in Dubai, with a capacity to treat 120 million imperial gallons of seawater per day (MIGD) using reverse osmosis technology. The selected private partner will act as an independent water producer.
The deadline to submit the bids is August 12, 2020.
