The government of Dubai has announced plans for a fourth phase of its South Bay development, which will add 138 three-to-five-bedroom villas, together with a few six and seven-bedroom mansions.

Situated within the central area of Dubai South's Residential District, adjacent to Expo Road, South Bay will showcase an array of residential options including over 800 expansive villas and townhouses, in addition to more than 200 lavish waterfront mansions. The development will boast a 1-km lagoon, stretching alongside over 3 km of a waterfront promenade adorned with cafes, multiple beaches, a clubhouse, modern fitness facilities, verdant parks, a shopping mall, a prestigious spa, children's clubs, water parks, swimming pools, a lake park, and exclusive private beaches, among various other amenities.

The organization has enlisted Al Kharafi Construction Company to undertake the construction of phases 3, 4, and 5 of the project through a contract worth AED 1.5 billion (US$ 410 million). Anticipated for completion in Q1 of 2027, phase four will encompass 138 units, including three-, four-, and five-bedroom villas, along with a select number of five to seven-bedroom mansions. In 2023, Dubai South Properties selected GINCO General Contracting LLC to oversee the construction of the initial two phases of the project as well as the associated infrastructure facilities.
