The Ministry of Public Works and Communications has issued an Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the inspection of the works on a 160-km section Crossing Nanawa – Gral. Bruguez on route PY12 in Paraguay.

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the project's financing entity, will oversee the selection of consultants according to the Policies for the Selection and Hiring of Consultants. The term of execution of the rehabilitation works is 2 years and the maintenance stage covers 4 years, adding to the total contract period of 6 years.

The sections, as well as the works and scope of the service, include four lots:

• Lot 1: has an extension of 37.5 km and an estimated cost for the execution of the services is US$3 million;
• Lot 2: 45 km with an estimated cost of US$3.2 million; 
• Lot 3: 40 km, with an estimated cost of US$3 million;
• Lot 4: approximately 35 km, with an estimated cost of US$3.5 million.
