Clearwater County (CWC) has launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) for its broadband internet project in Alberta, Canada.

The county seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and the range of solutions that may be available. This EOI process may be the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process that may support broadband infrastructure partnerships.

The County’s EOI intentions are to:

• Determine private sector interest in entering into contractual agreements with CWC;
• Seek specific EOI responses for the current broadband infrastructure, routes and colocation facilities being developed in the county;
• Seek specific ongoing EOI responses for the current and future broadband infrastructure, routes and colocation facilities planned throughout the county.
