The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the Full Business Case (FBC) certificates for two projects to be developed under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The projects involved are the Warehouse in a Box facility for the Federal Ministry of Health and the Biometric ID Card technology for the Nigerian Immigration Services.

The Warehouse in a Box will be composed of two prefabricated nd identically created warehouses in Lagos and Abuja with a combined floor capacity of 6,530 sqm and can hold up to 7,680 pallet spaces. The project is envisioned to provide an efficient and integrated health sector supply chain management system.

The Biometric ID Card project aims to revolutionize immigration across the West African sub-region and ease cross-border movement and commerce. The project offers sophisticated technology for the identification of travel documents. The smart card, a feature in the project, incorporates biometric identity credentials for the authentication of the physical person. The technology will help enhance the issue of national security. Vision-Box is the technical partner for the project.
