Infracapital has taken full ownership of Dutch inland port and rail terminal operator CTH by acquiring Bolk Container Transport and Nijhof-Wassink’s 66.67% stake.

The infrastructure equity investment branch of M&G, operating through its Benelux inland container terminal platform, Inland Terminals Group (ITG), has agreed to acquire the remaining stake. Infracapital secured a 33.33% interest in CTH as part of its acquisition of Dutch container logistics company Multimodal Container Services (MSC) in 2021. CTH manages two inland terminals in the Netherlands strategically positioned between the existing catchment areas of ITG, providing direct services to the Port of Rotterdam. Additionally, CTH operates a rail terminal in the Pernis area of the Port of Rotterdam, extending services to rail operators throughout Europe. This marks Infracapital's third venture in the inland terminals sector, following the acquisitions of BCTN in June 2021 and MCS in December 2021, both of which have since been consolidated to form ITG.
