Keepmoat, a leading UK housebuilder, has secured planning approval from North East Lincolnshire Council to invest over £20 million (US$26 million) in transforming the long-derelict Alexandra Dock site in Grimsby town centre into a vibrant new residential community. The brownfield regeneration project will deliver 120 high-quality, all-electric homes with a mix of tenures, including 54 affordable homes for social rent in partnership with a local housing association. Alongside the housing, the scheme features extensive green spaces and retains an area for future retail investment, creating a sustainable and attractive place to live right on the doorstep of Grimsby’s amenities and transport links.
Keepmoat already has a strong presence across North East Lincolnshire, with its Cambridge Green development at the former Western School site, where the housebuilder is delivering 318 new homes, including affordable and retirement properties, to create sustainable communities across East Yorkshire. Keepmoat is a top 10 UK partnership homebuilder with a track record of delivering quality homes in regions across the UK. To date, Keepmoat has built over 35,000 homes, transforming brownfield sites into thriving new communities.
