Milford Asset Management has committed NZ$100 million (US$59.5 million) to Zealandia Fund I, alongside ACC, to invest in public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure assets across New Zealand.

Established in 2025, Zealandia invests in PPP assets that support the development and maintenance of essential infrastructure in New Zealand. Its initial portfolio comprises interests in three major PPP assets: the Transmission Gully motorway, Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway, and Auckland South Corrections Facility. Collectively, these assets provide critical transport and social infrastructure for communities nationwide.

Milford is a cornerstone investor in Zealandia Fund I, alongside ACC, and serves as the fund’s exclusive KiwiSaver provider partner. As part of the investment, Milford will participate in Zealandia’s Limited Partners Advisory Committee through Mr Harrison, providing the firm with certain oversight and approval rights. Milford will also maintain regular engagement with Zealandia Management to monitor the investment process and the overall management of the fund. Approximately NZ$30 million (US$17.8 million) of the commitment will initially be allocated from Milford’s KiwiSaver and Investment Fund capital, while the remaining commitment will be available for deployment into future investments over five years. The investment builds on Milford’s 15 years of experience in private markets, during which the firm has invested approximately NZ$290 million (US$172.5 million) across 24 private companies.
