Paraguay receives 19 bids for Route PY07 Superhighway Junction PPP project in Puerto Indio

Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in Paraguay has received 19 offers from companies and consortiums interested in carrying out the paving and maintenance works of a 60 km section of route PY07 (Superhighway junction) in Puerto Indio. Total 28 companies participated in the reception and opening ceremony; 16 of which are grouped into 7 consortiums and 12 presented independent offers. The bidding teams are as follows :

  16. Mediterranean Consortium : Construction Initiatives Limited Company - Constructora Petricevic SA COPESA - Miguel Ángel Chávez Haussman
  17. Binational Consortium: Hidraco SA - Carlos Vicente Gueyraud Caballero - Briales SA
  18. Mbaracayú Consortium: TR Construcciones SA - Constructora Feldmann SA

Out of 19 bids, the lowest bid stands at PYG306.87 billion (US$42.96 million), which represents -28.9% compared to the estimation of PYG431.75 billion (US$60.44 million) in procurement documents.
