Phoenix launches air cargo tender

The City of Phoenix Aviation Department has launched a tender seeking an air cargo developer for the Northwest Air Cargo facility in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. 

The selected private partner will be responsible for the design, finance, build, operation/lease and maintenance of an air cargo facility at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport over a period of 30 years. Including, improvements within the 28 ac, building Air Lane modifications, Taxiway Alpha access and aircraft parking apron and Utility relocations and/or modifications. Additionally, the private partner will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing structures and the dilapidated apron material, as well as lead and asbestos testing and abatement. The selection criteria for a partner, include having a minimum of five-year experience in design, build and management of air cargo facilities, as well as the sustainability of the design concepts proposed.
