Private partner sought to develop schools in Espoo

The City of Espoo, located in the south of Finland, has launched a tender process for the development of several schools through a public-private partnerships (PPP) investment scheme. The private partner will design, finance, build and maintain the educational facilities.

The project includes:

  • Nauriskoski school (approx. 490 pupils) and Nöykkiönniity kindergarten
  • Elementary school in Northern Tapiola (approx. 990 pupils)
  • The secondary school element of the Kuitinmäki school (formerly Tähtiniity School) and kindergarten (approx. 360 pupils + 170 places)
  • Kilo school and kindergarten (approx. 660 pupils + 170 training places)
  • Perkka school and youth center (approx. 760 pupils) and Perkäka kindergarten

The contact period for the construction of the projects is 2-4 years with the entire concession of 15-25 years.
