Qualification Documents requested for San Ramon Newport Project

The Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority and Freeport (ZCSEZA) has invited Prospective Bidders to apply to pre-qualify and bid for the development and operation of the San Ramon Newport Project to be implemented through a Build-Operate-and-Transfer
Transfer (BOT) contractual arrangement.

The project includes the following components:

  • The design, financing, and development of port infrastructure and facilities and installation of port equipment and terminal operating system (TOS) within the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone, shall include the following:
    • Basic port structures, including container berths and the south breakwater cum south berth, a continuous RoRo ramp and north berth, west breakwater on piles, and rock slope protection;
    • A back-up area with a road network, parking, and open areas;
    • Buildings and other facilities, such as a port terminal operations building, a port multipurpose building including port administration and quarters, transit shed, and cargo shed, motor pool, powerhouse for generator, comfort rooms, and container
      freight station, and guardhouse; and
    • Utility facilities, including water supply, drainage and sewerage system, power supply and electrical works, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system.
  • The operation and maintenance of the port infrastructure and facilities for a minimum period of 31 years.
