Quebec announces shortlist for Pointe-Saint-Charles rail maintenance facility in Montreal

The Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) and the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) have announced that four bidders have been qualified for the Pointe-Saint-Charles rail maintenance facility P3 project in Montreal.Qualified applicants are:- Consortium EntreTrain Pointe-Saint-Charles: Plenary Group Canada Ltd., Verreault inc., Groupe Aecon Québec Ltée, Dessau inc., Stantec Experts-Conseils Ltée, Groupe Helios, and Gestion d'infrastructures et de services urbains inc.
- Équipe Centre d'entretien Sébastopol: Fiera Axium Infrastructure Canada II s.e.c., Pomerleau inc., Les services exp. inc., Provencher Roy + Associés Architectes, Pasquin St-Jean et associés, Gannett Fleming, and Société de contrôle Johnson Canada s.e.c.
- Groupe Ferroviaire Intégré Pointe-Saint-Charles: SNC-Lavalin Capital inc., SNC-Lavalin Construction inc., SNC-Lavalin Opérations & Maintenance inc., and Régis Côté et associés
- Partenariat Ferroviaire St-Charles: OHL Construction inc., Fengate Capital Management Ltd., OHL Construction inc., EBC inc., Genivar inc., Arcop Architecture inc., and Honeywell Ltée.
The contracting authority said that a Request for Proposals is expected for winter 2014.
The Société québécoise des infrastructures, which resulted from the merger of the Société immobilière du Québec and Infrastructure Québec, began operations on November 13th 2013.
