RFP Released for New Stapleton Waterfront Residential Development Project

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified parties for the long-term lease and development of two vacant parcels into a mixed-income residential project of the southern parcels of the New Stapleton Waterfront on the North Shore of Staten Island. 

The parcels, identified as B4 and B5 (part of Block 487, Lot 100) in the southern phase, collectively provide approximately 5.5 acres of land and 243,000 square feet across both lots. The project is part of a larger initiative to revitalize the area with public open space, housing, a school, and other improvements. The potential benefits of developing on the Stapleton waterfront, such as access to green space, proximity to public transportation, and the opportunity to contribute to the revitalization of the neighborhood.
