The Boards of Trustees of the Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund (NYSE: BRW) and the Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund II (NYSE: SABA) have approved, in principle, in New York, a proposal to merge the two closed-end funds so that SABA would be combined into BRW, subject to shareholder approval and customary closing conditions. Detailed information on the proposed merger will be contained in proxy materials expected to be filed in Q1 of 2026.
Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund and Saba Capital Income & Opportunities Fund II are publicly traded, registered closed-end management investment companies whose common shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbols “BRW” and “SABA,” respectively. Saba Capital Management, L.P, manages both funds.
