Saudi Arabia announces List of Pre Qualified Companies for Aseer – Jazan Highway PPP Project

The Roads General Authority (RGA), in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) and Aseer Development Authority (ASDA), announces the names of the consortia that prequalified for the Aseer–Jazan pivotal Road.

The following is the list of Consortia:

  • IC ICTAS INSAAT SANAYI VE TICARET A.S. (Turkey), Al Gihaz Holding Company
  • Safari Company, Lamar Holding, SCEGC NO.2 CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING GROUP COMPANY LTD.
  • China Harbour Engineering Company (China), Vision International Investment Company (Vision Invest)
  • Makyol İnşaat Sanayi Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey), Shibh Al Jazira Contracting Company (SAJCO), Tamasuk Holding Company
  • Al-Ayuni Investment & Contracting Co., Limak Group of Companies (Turkey), Samsung C&T (South Korea), Nesma and Partners Contracting Company, Plenary Group (Australia)

The length of the highway is 136 km (3 lanes in each direction) and it spans from the Al Farah area in the Aseer region to the Red Sea through the Jazan region. It consists of 6 intersections, 57 bridges with a total length of 18 km, and 11 tunnels with a total length of 9.2 km. The Contract type is Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) and the duration of the contract is 30 years. Earlier, the Authority announced that 69 companies submitted EOI for the Aseer–Jazan Highway PPP Project.
