Everstrong Capital has submitted an updated feasibility study report which is in response to the feedback from the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Committee for the construction of the Nairobi-Mombasa Expressway.
Everstrong Capital emphasized that the revisions were fully aligned with Kenya’s technical, financial, environmental, and legal due diligence requirements. The firm also clarified that the multi-billion-shilling expressway remains under refinement and will not be supplanted by the ongoing expansion of the existing Nairobi–Mombasa highway. Once realized, the US$3.6 billion (KSh 468 billion) Usahihi Expressway is projected to slash travel time between Nairobi and Mombasa from over 10.5 hours to around 4.5 hours, transforming transport along this critical corridor.
