Tender launched for substation projects at Chincha and Nazca

Private investment promotion agency (Proinversión) in Peru has launched tender notice seeking private developers for two 220/60 kV substation in Chincha and Nazca. The project includes design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of two 220/60 kV substation at Chincha and Nazca.

The scope of works for substation at Chincha involves:

220 Kv side: Double bus configuration with transfer disconnector. It would be made up of:
  • One (01) 100 MVA three-phase 220/60/10 kV power transformer (ONAF). Alternatively, a bank of three (03) single-phase transformers, plus a reserve unit, of 100/3 MVA each, may be installed.
  • Four (04) cells, of which two (02) are line, one (01) of the power transformer, and one (01) of bus coupling.
60 Kv side: Double bar configuration. It would be made up of:
  • Eight (08) cells, of which six (06) are line, one (01) of the power transformer, and one (01) of bus coupling.

The scope of works for substation at Nazca involves:

220 kV side: Double bus configuration with transfer disconnector. Made by:
  • One (01) 50 MVA three-phase 220/60/10 kV power transformer (ONAF).
  • Four (04) cells, of which two (02) are line, one (01) of the power transformer, and one (01) of bus coupling.
60 kV side: Double bus configuration. Made by:
  • Four (04) cells, of which two (02) are line, one (01) of the power transformer, and one (01) of bus coupling.
