The University of Wisconsin-Superior has proposed two redevelopment public-private parternship (PPP) projects on its campus located in Wisconsin, USA.

The two proposed projects are as follows:

  1. Belknap site redevelopment project: involves the redevelopment of an 8-ac site that includes unused Ole Haugsrud Stadium and the surrounding area in the Belknap site. It also includes the development of a mix of uses and activities to accommodate a diversity of visitors, commercial corridors and housing, retail or a hotel;
  2. 28th Street Project in Wessman Arena: involves the expansion of Wessman Arena with outdoor competition fields on its nearly 15 ac area and the development of an athletics corridor between the University of Wisconsin-Superior and the Superior high school.

The two projects are expected to be beneficial for both the campus and the community. The projects intend to aid tourism, recreational facility options for youth, housing demands along with potential hotel and retail needs to create a community and campus asset that serves all generations.
