Founded in 1988, BlackRock became the world's largest asset manager as of 2010 after numerous acquisitions including Merrill, Quellos, State Street, and Barclays Global. As of 2014, BlackRock has US$4.401 trillion in assets under management.

BlackRock Infrastructure Investment Group provides institutional clients with access to Debt and Equity Infrastructure investments, providing investment solutions from a broad and deep suite of infrastructure product offerings and providing investment partnership opportunities. BlackRock Infrastructure Investment Group has locations in Zurich, London, Dublin and New York.
