Colombia's National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has published the bid conditions to participate in the tender process for the APP Llanos PPP project.

According to sources, the tender process for the project will remain open for two months.

The contractor will be responsible for the development of the technical, financial, legal, administrative, operational and environmental issues for the Vial Network of Meta, which benefits the municipalities of Restrepo, Villavicencio and Cumaral.

The unsolicited proposal for the APP Llanos was submitted by Grupo Odinsa S.A. The proposed road PPP project involves the maintenance of 350 km of roads, the development of a ring road around Villavicencio and the construction of a two-lane road between Ciudad Porfía and Acacias and between Río Ocoa and Apiay. The project also involves the upgrade of the road between Puerto Gaitán and Puente Arimena.

The total project investment is estimated at P$1,26o billion (US$522 million).

In early June 2014 ANI approved the unsolicited proposal for the project.

Later in mid November 2014, ANI approved Girardot - Ibagué - Cajamarca (GICA) highway PPP project (Unsolicited proposal), which was submitted by Colpatria, Mincivil and their partners in the San Rafael concessionaire. The project involves the operation and maintenance of the 225.1 km road between Girardot - Ibagué - Cajamarca. The project also involves the development of a second 35 km highway between Ibagué and Cajamarca.
