Polish city tenders parking PPP project

Poland's city Opole has issued a tender process for the development of an underground parking facility through a PPP project.

The project is valued at about  PLN70 million (US$23 million). The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance basis.

The new park will be located in Miko?aja Kopernika, Opole. Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 1 August 2014.

In May, we reported about another PPP project in Poland. Poland's Ministry of Infrastructure and Development announced that it had shortlisted five teams for the Z400 million (US$132.7 million) Wloclawek Road PPP project in Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

The project involves the construction, modernization and maintenance of the roads in Wloclawek which are about270 km long. The selected developer will build a stretch of 12 Km and it will refurbish and modernize the rest. The company will also operate and maintain the roads for a period of 20 years.
