RFP closed for Treatment Centre PPP project in Canada

Infrastructure Ontario has announced that the request for proposals (RFP) stage has closed for teams to submit their bids to design, build and finance the 1Door4Care: CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre in Canada.

The project involves the development of a 200,000 sq. ft treatment center for children and youth with special needs in the Ottawa area. The project includes a hospital, children’s treatment center, autism program, mental health agency, school, a parking structure (~330,000 sq. ft.) and a research institute with satellite services located throughout Eastern Ontario.   

The companies that submitted their proposals are as follows:

  • EllisDon Infrastructure Health (EllisDon Corporation - EllisDon Capital, EllisDon Corporation - EllisDon Capital, Montgomery Sisam Architects, Mulvey & Banani International Inc., WalterFedy Partnership, HH Angus);

  • Pomerleau Healthcare Partners (Pomerleau Inc., Quasar Associates, Stephenson Engineering, Smith + Andersen);

  • PCL Partnerships (PCL Construction, Parkin Architects, WSP, Morrison Construction). 

The successful proponent is expected to be announced in fall 2023.
