Contracts signed for two transmission projects in Peru

Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) of Peru and the company Puerto Maldonado Transmisora ​​de Energía SAC (Celeo Redes) have signed two concession contracts for the 138 kV Puerto Maldonado - Iberia Transmission Line and 220/60 / 22.9 kV Valle del Chira Substation projects. 

Celeo Redes, SLU has established the company Puerto Maldonado Transmisora ​​de Energía SAC to manage the projects. It won the award of the Puerto Maldonado - Iberia Transmission Line and Valle del Chira Substation projects by offering a total investment cost of US$28.82 million and a total annual operation and maintenance cost of US$847.88 thousand. 

Both projects will allow meeting the efficiency and quality of the growing demand for electricity in the departments of Madre de Dios and Piura, supporting their economic growth. The projects will benefit more than 560 thousand local people. The term of each concession is 30 years, plus the construction period.
