Grupo Energía Bogotá (GEB) has completed the acquisition of Ashmore Management Company's stake in Elecnorte SAS in La Guajira, Colombia.

Elecnorte was selected as concessionaire for the design, construction, administration, operation and maintenance of a 138.3 km transmission line of the Regional Transmission System (STR). This asset includes two 110 kV transmission lines: 76.51 km between the Riohacha and Maicao substations and 61.79 km between the Riohacha and Cuestecitas substations, as well as their substation connection bays.
