InfraRed Capital Partners has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Rogers Communications’ data centres business, on behalf of InfraRed’s value-add strategy.
The portfolio comprises nine Tier 2 and Tier 3 data centres located in major Canadian cities, offering a solid market presence, an experienced operations team, and a long-established, diverse client base spanning multiple industries. With up to 49 MW of capacity, the business provides secure colocation, cloud, and managed services, all underpinned by Canadian data sovereignty and domestic cloud infrastructure. The acquisition aligns with InfraRed’s value-add strategy, focusing on businesses with strong fundamentals, significant long-term growth potential, and proven management teams. The deal is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
