Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded a contract to a consortium comprising MKX Technologies, MOGOX (Zhidao Network Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing), and BYD (Singapore) to implement the city-state’s first Level 4 (L4) autonomous public bus pilot. The pilot will commence in the second half of 2026, covering Service 191 in one-north and Service 400 along Marina Bay and Shenton Way, connecting key hubs including Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Gardens by the Bay, and MRT stations. The pilot will run for an initial period of three years.
MOGOX will provide full-stack L4 autonomous driving technology, including research and development, integrated hardware and software suites, and fleet management systems. The solution comprises lidar, millimeter-wave radar, cameras, and remote operation systems. The company’s MogoMind AI platform enhances autonomous decision-making and vehicle adaptability in urban environments. The consortium will also oversee deployment, operations, and real-world performance monitoring for the autonomous buses.
In the second half of 2026, LTA plans to deploy autonomous public buses for pilot operations on Service 191 in one-north and Service 400 along Marina Bay and Shenton Way. Connecting major hubs such as Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Gardens by the Bay and MRT stations, the initiative marks the first time autonomous buses have been incorporated into a public transport system overseas for real-world daily use. As a technology company dedicated to developing an AI network and advancing Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving applications, MOGOX stands out as one of the few firms in China to have formed joint ventures with multiple commercial vehicle manufacturers, enabling close collaboration on autonomous vehicle research, development, and real-world implementation. The company plans to deploy autonomous buses starting in mid-2026 for an initial three-year period. MOGOX has set itself apart from competitors through its cutting-edge L4 full-stack autonomous driving system, proven operational experience, and strong track record in dependable project delivery.
