The Portuguese government has announced that construction of the Algarve Central Hospital will begin in early October, for EUR 800 million (US$931 million).
The hospital, to be built through a public-private partnership (PPP), involves an €800 million investment, with construction slated to begin around early 2027 and full operations targeted by 2030.
