PPP Center Invites Selected Firms to MRT-3 O&M Market Sounding in Japan
The Department of Transportation, with assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center, will conduct market consultations with invited parties for the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) PPP Project in Tokyo, Japan on June 23-24, 2026 at Philippine Embassy in Japan, 5-15-5 Roppongi Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan 106-8537.
The MRT 3 O&M PPP project is being developed to include key scope items for the prospective O&M concessionaire, such as the takeover of O&M, as well as the life-cycle management of the rail lines and rolling stock. It also covers the O&M of the MRT 3 area within the Unified Grand Central Station, the introduction of Dalian trains into commercial service, and the addition of new rolling stock alongside updates to signaling systems. Furthermore, the project includes upgrades to depot facilities, including improvements to communications and power systems.
