The São Paulo State Government republished the concession notice for the New Administrative Center and announced a new bidding schedule. The envelopes are scheduled for delivery on November 24, and the auction will take place on November 28 at the B3 exchange in the city center.
The New Administrative Center will bring together seven buildings and ten towers in a single complex, housing state departments and agencies, with space for approximately 22,000 employees. In addition to increasing efficiency in public administration, the development will offer cultural and community facilities, such as a theater, auditoriums, and multipurpose rooms, creating a civic space in the heart of São Paulo. Another highlight is the project's contribution to the redevelopment of the Champs-Élysées region, including the restoration of 17 listed buildings and the expansion of more than 40% of the green spaces in Princesa Isabel Park. The park will also include 25,000 m² of retail and services, strengthening urban development and the local economy.
The estimated investment was also updated from R$5.4 billion to R$6 billion (US$1.1 billion), due to the adjustment of the base date (from February 2025 to July 2025) and the review of the project and budget. The initiative will be implemented through a 30-year Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The selection criterion will be the largest discount on the maximum annual consideration. Interested parties can submit requests for clarification until October 17, 2025, by email to editalpppcentroadm@sp.gov.br.
