Tutor Perini Corporation (TPC) announced that its subsidiary, Tutor Perini Building Corp. (TPBC), has been selected by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma for its US$140 million renovation and expansion project of Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola in Pocola, Oklahoma. The scope of work includes interior and exterior renovations of the existing hotel and casino, including all food and gaming venues, as well as construction of a new adjacent seven-story, 130-room hotel tower with a spa, fitness center, and pool complex.
TPBC has been providing preconstruction services for the project since 2025, with full-scale construction scheduled to begin in Q3 of 2026. The contract's value will be incorporated into Tutor Perini's backlog in stages as key design milestones are completed and additional construction phases are awarded.
According to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, the investment reflects its long-term commitment to regional economic development and hospitality. As the largest employer in LeFlore County, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola plays a significant role in the local economy, and the expansion is expected to enable the resort to welcome more visitors while delivering upgraded accommodations and amenities that support tourism and future growth.
