Atlantia has received two binding offers to acquire the company’s entire 88% stake in motorway unit Autostrade per l’Italia (ASPI). The proposals were submitted by the following teams:

• Consortium consisting of CDP, Blackstone and Macquarie (Consortium);
• ACS Group.

Both offers value the business at EUR 9-10 billion (US$ 10.8- 12 billion). The proposal from the Consortium is positioned as a frontrunner, since at its meeting on April 23, 2021, the Board of Directors of Atlantia decided to hold another meeting in due course to make the necessary decisions regarding this binding offer.
