Polish energy efficiency PPP tendered

The government of Zgierz, a town in central Poland, has launched a tender process to upgrade buildings of educational institutions through a PPP model.

The preferred bidder will have to  develop an energy efficiency refurbishment and renovation project to upgrade the selected buildings. The team will be responsible for the design, build and finance of the project and the energy management of the buildings.

The final project scope, the concession period and the financial model, among others, will be defined in the terms of reference (TOR) at a future stage.

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 26 October 2015.

Zgierz is one of the oldest cities in Central Poland. In 2014 the city had a population of approximately 58,000 inhabitants.

In early September we reported that Wroclaw Authorities (Poland) issued a tender process to carry out a municipal electric car sharing system through a public private partnership (PPP) project. The new system will supplement to the municipal transport system's mobility.
