Brazil to auction four port terminals

National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq) in Brazil is planning to auction four port terminals on August 13, 2021. The transaction is expected to bring BRL160 million (US$32.39 million) in private investments. The port terminals are located in the Northeast and North region of Brazil. Following are the assets being auctioned :

  1. MAC 14- Porto Maceió in Alagoas with an investment value of BRL41.81 million (US$8.47 million) for a concession period of 15 years;
  2. MCP02- Port of Santana in Amapa with an investment value of BRL41.35 million (US$8.37 million) for a concession period of 25 years;
  3. SSD09- Port of Salvador in Bahia with an investment value of BRL29 million (US$5.87 million) for a concession period of 10 years;
  4. MCU01- Port of Mucuripe in Ceará with an investment value of BRL47.69 million (US$9.65 million) for a concession period of 25 year;

Interested parties must register their proposals before August 10, 2021.
