The Ministry of Public Works and Communications of Paraguay has announced that the construction progress of the Alberty-Pilar highway in Paraguay is about 50%.

The 53-km Alberty-Pilar highway has already completed over 20 km of new asphalt. The project is divided into two lots and covers from the Alberdi bypass road to the capital of the department of Chiembuku, whose route is already fully completed and allowed for car traffic. Lot 1 starts from the Bypass to the city of Alberdi and goes to the Tebicuari River, where a simple cordon and ditch cordon is carried out, as well as a foundation and an underlying foundation. The project also continues work on the construction of a 626 m concrete bridge across Paso Pe Creek.

The job as a whole has an advance of 85% and employs 400 people. The project also includes the improvement of the Villa Franca urban crossing, which adds about 2.05 km more to the work, which is the responsibility of the TC Pilar Consortium.
