Plenary Group, in partnership with Foundation Housing and Human Urban, has achieved financial close and commenced construction of the 213-unit Rise@Murdoch social and affordable housing project alongside ABN Group and PACT Construction in Perth, Western Australia.
The Rise@Murdoch development, delivered in collaboration with industry partners such as ABN Group and PACT Construction, is the largest among four social housing projects awarded under the first round of Housing Australia’s Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) in partnership with the Western Australian Government. Collectively, these projects will deliver and manage 396 social and affordable homes across four sites in metropolitan Perth, with a total investment of approximately AU$280 million (US$196 million). Plenary is a financial and commercial adviser on all projects and a development manager on one of the projects.
Rise@Murdoch will deliver 65 social housing units and 148 affordable rental homes within the Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct. Situated near Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch University, and public transport, the development will offer conveniently located housing for residents seeking proximity to jobs, education, and essential services.
