gbpartnerships group has acquired the business and assets of DLP Planning Limited (DLP) and Cass Design Consultants Limited (Cass Design), two specialist UK-based businesses operating in planning consultancy and architecture, respectively. The transaction represents a significant strategic expansion for gbpartnerships, a multi-disciplinary property and estates organisation, strengthening its capabilities across planning, design, development and project delivery. The acquisition also extends the group’s geographical presence into new regions across the UK and strengthens its development pipeline.
The acquisition enables gbpartnerships to provide clients with a more integrated range of services, covering the entire property development lifecycle, from strategic planning and architectural design through to project delivery and long-term asset management. DLP brings expertise in planning, transport and infrastructure, energy and sustainability, and environmental services, while Cass Design contributes capabilities in architecture, masterplanning, landscape architecture and sustainable design, including heritage and conservation projects. These complementary capabilities are expected to enhance the group’s service offering, particularly across healthcare, local government and the wider public sector.
Following the transaction, DLP and Cass Design will continue operating under their existing brands within gbpartnerships group, with Angela Dimbleby remaining Managing Director of both businesses. The integration will preserve their established identities and specialist expertise while providing their clients with access to the wider group’s development, delivery and asset management capabilities. The acquisition also creates opportunities for employees to develop their expertise and collaborate across a broader range of projects.
