Homes England and Summix have secured validation of outline planning applications from Wychavon District Council for a new 5,500-home town near Worcestershire Parkway railway station. The outline applications cover the proposed new settlement, including a town centre and a southern neighbourhood, delivering up to 5,500 new homes. The scheme also includes a purpose-designed town centre, employment and mixed-use spaces, schools and healthcare facilities, extensive green and blue infrastructure, and well-connected transport and active travel routes. The proposals represent a major element of the planned 10,000-home allocation set out in the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review. Homes England and Summix will continue to work closely with Wychavon District Council, Worcestershire County Council and other key stakeholders as the applications are considered.
