The Iloilo City Government (ICG) has invited interested parties to submit Comparative Proposals for the selection of the Private Sector Proponent (PSP) to enter into a Concession Agreement with the Iloilo City Government for the development of the Iloilo Bulk Water Supply Project.
This initiative involves a build–own–operate (BOO) or build–lease (BL) model for a water treatment plant and a 4 km treated-water pipeline, aiming to deliver 86 MLD of potable water to Iloilo City and surrounding municipalities through a competitive concession over 33 years. The project is valued at PHP 5.12 billion (US$ 87 million), with Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. currently holding Original Proponent Status (OPS)—granting it priority to match any rival bids during the Swiss Challenge.
