Jacmel Partners announced that its Jacmel Infrastructure platform, with support from GCM Grosvenor, has invested in Vantage Group's LLC in LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP), the private company that recently redeveloped and manages LaGuardia Airport Terminal B in New York City, USA.
LGP has led the investment, private management, and redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B under a long-term public-private partnership (P3) with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. This P3 initiative includes the US$ 5.1 billion transformation of the terminal, completed in 2022.
The redevelopment of LaGuardia’s Terminal B became the first airport project globally to earn LEED v4 Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. It also received the inaugural Envision Platinum Award from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), recognizing its strong commitment to sustainability and resilience. Additionally, Skytrax, the leading global airport rating agency, recently named LaGuardia the top airport in North America for domestic and short-haul international travel.
Greenberg Traurig, LLP acted as legal advisor to Jacmel Partners for this investment.
