The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) awarded the firm IKONS ATN Inversiones Limitadas the consulting contract that will provide support in the financial, technical and legal structuring of the project "Operation and Maintenance of the Support Hospital II-2 Sullana", which will benefit 650,000 people from Sullana, Tambogrande, Las Lomas, Talara, Ayabaca and other provinces of Piura with access to free medical services.

The Sullana II-2 Support Hospital will feature advanced medical equipment, high-quality hospital beds, and a facility layout tailored to deliver general, specialized, and auxiliary healthcare services under the gray and green gown model, promoting both efficiency and compassionate care. The project is expected to be awarded in the first half of 2026. The selected contractor will be responsible for the hospital's full operation and maintenance for 16 years, including regular equipment renewal and major upkeep. The Regional Government of Piura will serve as the contracting authority, supported technically and structurally by PROINVERSIÓN.

The Project Promotion Plan has already been approved, establishing the institutional, legal, and technical framework for attracting investors with experience in hospital management and specialized maintenance. The project has been classified as a co-financed PPP due to its social nature: it does not contemplate direct revenue from service fees.
