London Metropolitan University (London Met) has initiated a procurement process to appoint a long-term strategic delivery partner for a comprehensive GBP 284 million (US$ 377 million) transformation of its estates over the next decade.
This initiative encompasses both the Holloway Road campus in Islington and the Aldgate campus in Tower Hamlets, aiming to modernize facilities, enhance sustainability, and improve the overall student and staff experience. The selected partner will be responsible for:
Delivering capital projects aligned with the university's Estates Strategy
Providing strategic advice throughout the project's lifecycle
Leading total facilities management (TFM) services
Achieving net-zero carbon targets across all projects and services
Enhancing user experience during transitions from construction to operation
Promoting social value, safety, and operational excellence
The university is currently seeking expressions of interest and conducting soft market testing, with a formal invitation to tender expected in July 2025. Interested parties should contact the university by 24 May 2025.
