The Mayor of London and the London Councils have unveiled the London Infrastructure Framework, in partnership with local authorities, utilities, industry partners and Transport for London, to deliver 51 priority infrastructure projects across London.
The framework – on which Mott MacDonald led the technical development – sets out a pipeline of 51 priority projects across transport, energy, waste, water, flood risk and digital connectivity sectors. The projects include:
It aims to provide governments, regulators, utilities, investors, and boroughs with a common understanding of London’s infrastructure pipeline and priorities, while aligning closely with broader sector initiatives such as the 10-year National Infrastructure Strategy and the UK Infrastructure Pipeline overseen by the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA).
