The Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat for Investment Partnerships (SPI), has published the International Tender Notice for the sponsored concession of the Crossing System.
The project includes the operation, maintenance, and investment in passenger and vehicle waterway transport. The initiative foresees the modernization and expansion of 14 routes, including the crossings between Santos and Guarujá, São Sebastião and Ilhabela, as well as connections in the Vale do Ribeira, North Coast, Metropolitan Region, and the Paraibuna Reservoir. The contract includes estimated investments of BRL 2 billion (US$ 361 million). The concession will allow for fleet renewal with electric vessels, terminal improvements, and the adoption of new technologies, promoting greater comfort, safety, and sustainability.
The envelope submission will take place on October 13, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the B3 headquarters (Street XV de Novembro, 275, Downtown São Paulo). The proposal opening will take place on October 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the same location.
