VINCI Highways, along with its Greek partners, officially opened the 75 km Patras-Pyrgos highway. As part of incorporating the final section of the Patras–Pyrgos highway into the existing Olympia Odos concession, VINCI Highways and its partners assumed responsibility for the design, financing, and program management of the 75-km route and will operate it through 2044. This €331 million (US$387 million) investment upgrades the former national road into a modern, safe, and high-performance motorway. The new corridor reduces travel times, improves road safety, and enhances connectivity to key destinations across the Western Peloponnese. Advanced technologies—such as fully automated tolling, electric-vehicle charging facilities, and future solar-powered operations—support higher service standards and improved environmental performance.

The inauguration of the Patras–Pyrgos motorway coincides with the Greek Government’s review of the next stage of network expansion, including a possible extension from Pyrgos to Tsakona. As Greece’s leading international highway operator and a long-standing partner of the country, VINCI Highways continues to demonstrate its full commitment to supporting the Government in this important strategic phase.
