The Government of the Philippines — through the Public-Private Partnership Center—has issued a Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for consulting firms and experts to provide Project Preparation and Transaction Advisory Services (PPTA) for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the Panguil Bay Bridge Project.

The project will have the following indicative components:

• Construction, operation and maintenance, and management of toll collection and ancillary facilities, including construction of the depot;
• Works for routine, periodic, preventive, and emergency maintenance;
• Installation and operation of the traffic safety and control system, including traffic monitoring and management;
• Provision of support services, i.e., response to traffic accidents, fire incidents, and other incidents reported, among others;
• Installation and operation of vehicle control facilities, including the weighbridge and portable axle weighing stations; and
• Operation of specialized equipment for containment and clean-up, i.e., in cases of oil spills and other hazardous materials transported by trucks due to accidents.
