Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Floats ₹83.4 Crore Tender for Rabarivas-Charanagar Slum Redevelopment

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has invited bids for the ₹83.41 crore (US$8.7 million) redevelopment of the Rabarivas-Charanagar slum in Sabarmati Ward, West Zone, Ahmedabad, under a PPP model and in accordance with Gujarat’s In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Policy 2013 and PMAY-U 2.0.

The open tender, issued under notice number 2026-2027, aims to improve housing and living conditions for residents of the targeted slum area through a PPP model. The project involves the redevelopment of the Rabarivas-Charanagar slum at TP-23 (Sabarmati), FP-484+485, in Sabarmati Ward, West Zone, Ahmedabad. The works will be carried out in accordance with the Gujarat Government’s In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Policy 2013 and aligned with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0). The scope includes civil works for the redevelopment and improvement of buildings and supporting infrastructure to enhance living conditions for eligible slum residents. Interested bidders can submit their proposals through the NPROCURE portal, with the tender open from August 1 to August 31, 2026.
