The auction for the Fernão Dias highway contract (BR-381/MG/SP) is scheduled for December 11, 2025, and is expected to unlock investments estimated at BRL15 billion (US$2.8 billion).

The Fernão Dias highway, spanning 569 km, connects Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais, to the state of São Paulo. The concession represents a renegotiation of a contract originally held by Arteris, granted in 2008 for 25 years, but later returned by the company due to difficulties in maintaining investments. For the new Fernão Dias concession, in addition to Arteris, Motiva, EPR, and the Via Appia investment fund, they are evaluating the contract.
