Cooperation agreement signed for Kediri Airport PPP project in East Java

The Ministry of Transportation, the Government of Indonesia and PT Suryo Dhaha Investama have signed a cooperation agreement for the development of the Kediri Airport PPP project in East Java, Indonesia.

The IDR10.8 trillion (US$727.72 million) airport project will be developed in three phases having the following capacity:

  • Phase I has an investment value of IDR6.6 trillion (US$444.23 million) and is able to accommodate 1.5 million passengers per year;
  • Phase II with an investment value of IDR1.2 trillion (US$80.76 million) could accommodate 4.5 million passengers per year;
  • Phase III with IDR3 trillion (US$201.92 million) investment has the capacity of 10 million passengers per year.

PT Suryo Dhaha Investama which is a subsidiary of Gudang Garam, and Angkasa Pura I (Persero) are responsible for conducting a joint operation (KSO) on the construction of the airport.
